Now, perhaps the most important thing I have to say is: the world's BEST cheesecake recipe can be found here. Took it to a friend's house for dinner this past weekend. Absolutely amazing. Only adjustment needed is the cook time. Add 30 minutes or you're in for an unpleasant jiggly surprise.
Secondly, I'm busy and might be MIA for awhile. As in two weeks. I have a to-do list with 45 items on it. In the next 13 days I have two exams, two quizzes, a birthday party with a few dozen guests to prepare for, two houseguests, a zoo trip, two days of doctor appointments and the usual "etc." things going on like others' parties, gatherings, this that and the other. But I love it. If I wasn't super busy, all the time, I would go mad. I cannot sit still. And I am coming up on one year since I discovered Hodge so I am extra anxious and don't need a wandering mind. So busy I shall stay.
But get prepared for future updates. This is my favorite time of year. Halloween. Ian's birthday. Ian's party. My birthday. Adding on to my tattoo. Thanksgiving (really, not a big deal to us, I could just get a bucket of KFC and be done with it. Especially if I finished up with some of that cheesecake.) Xmas time. Xmas decorating. And I've recently gotten into crafting. Another time occupier. Hence, I am about to embark on making a tablecloth. But there is no needle and thread involved. I am not one of those women. I promise.
I am about to finish up semester number TWO for my nursing pre-reqs. I can't believe I've already made it this far. FINALLY. Progress is being made!! I may even pick up one 12 hour shift/week as a nursing assistant once I am certified by the end of the year. More experience = entrance to nursing school, better preceptorship, better job at graduation. (Plus there is that whole "busy" thing I thrive on).
